Types of Germany Visas

Documents required for Germany visa as Pakistani
Passport
You must have a valid passport and any other travel documentation. When you apply for a Canadian visa, you have to provide photocopies of the information page of your passport. It must include:
- Your passport number.
- The date of issue and expiry.
- Your personal information: name, photo, place of birth, and date of birth.
Photographs
- Size: 35mm x 45mm
- No more than 6 months old
- Close up your head and top of your shoulders so that your face take up 70-80% of the photograph

ID Card
- Valid national identity card
Financial Documents
- Original Personal Bank Account Statement for last 6 months on Bank letterhead with seal & sign of Bank officer showing that you have sufficient funds to cover your expenses during your stay in Germany.
Self-Employed Professional / Businessman
- Original Personal Bank Account Statement for last 6 months on Bank letterhead with seal & sign of Bank officer showing that you have sufficient funds to cover your expenses during your stay in Germany.
- Original Company Current Bank Account Statement for last 6 months on Bank letterhead with seal & sign of Bank officer showing that you have sufficient funds to cover your expenses during your stay in Germany.
- Income tax returns for the past two to three years to demonstrate your financial stability.
- Proof of business ownership such as business registration documents and business letter head etc
- Chamber of Commerce Certificate if you have a membership with Chamber of Commerce.
- Proof of Proprietorship / Partnership (In case the applicant is Proprietor / Partner in a firm)
Employed
- Original Personal Bank Account Statement for last 6 months on Bank letterhead with seal & sign of Bank officer showing that you have sufficient funds to cover your expenses during your stay in Germany.
- Last 3 months’ salary slips
- Personal Income Tax Returns for last 3 Assessment years or Tax Deduction Certificate
- Visiting card and Employee ID card (company card) copy.
In some cases, you may need to provide a letter of inviation from someone in Germany. That person has to be either a Germany citizen or hold Permanent Residence.
The person who writes the letter is not legally responsible for you. He or she has to give you that letter, and you must include it in your application.
The letter has to include this information about you (the person applying for the visa):
- Name.
- Birth date.
- Phone number and address.
- The relationship you have with the person who is writing the letter.
- How long you will stay in Germany, where you will stay, and when you plan to leave.
- How you plan to support yourself financially.
The letter also has to include the following information about the writer:
- Their complete name and date of birth.
- Their Germany address and phone number.
- Their residence status (Citizen or Permanent Resident) and a photocopy of a document that proves it.
- Their job title.
- Their family details (names and dates of birth for his/her spouse and dependents).
- How many people are in their household.
Purpose of travel
You need to provide a purpose for your travel to Germany when you apply for a Germany visa. The requirements depend on the country, but it could include:
- An invitation letter from your sponsor or the family member/friend you will visit.
- Contact information of the people who can support your stated purpose of visit.
- Any documents that support your purpose of travel.
